LORETTO, Pa. (AP) - Ricardo Greer had 18 points, and went 3-of-5 on 3-pointers, as Pittsburgh beat St. Francis, Pa. Wednesday night.
Greer shot 7-for-11 from the field, had a game-high eight rebounds and three assists.
Pittsburgh (4-0) shot 65 percent from the field, and went 14-for-17 - 82 percent - in the second half.
St. Francis (0-4) shot just 36 percent for the game, including a dismal 9-for-29 - 31 percent - in the second half.
Pittsburgh led 36-29 at the half.
Chris Seabrooks, with 11 points, was the only other player to score in double-figures for Pittsburgh.
Scott Melvin and Bryan Martin led St. Francis with 10 points each.
The Red Flash battled the Panthers on the boards, losing the rebound battle 30-29, and had just one more turnover than the Panthers, 17-16. But poor outside shooting cost St. Francis.
Pittsburgh hit 5-of-9 3-pointers. St. Francis also canned 5 3-pointers - but needed 22 shots to do so.
