Located behind the Cost Sports Center with a striking view of the downtown skyline is Trees Field, home of the Pittsburgh Panther baseball team. Prior to the 1999 season, the park underwent a renovation worth over $500,000, including the installation of a brand new major league-caliber astroturf infield and lights. In addition, two all-purpose astroturf fields adjoin Trees Field allowing for an additional practice area.
