Men's Soccer Signs Keeyan Young For 2002 Season

PITTSBURGH-University of Pittsburgh head men's soccer coach Joe Luxbacher has announced the signing of Keeyan Young to a national letter-of-intent to play for the 2002 season.
A native of North Wales, Pa., Young helped lead The Haverford School to a 63-27 record during his four years there. Young had his most successful season as a junior, tallying 20 goals and adding 18 assists for a total of 58 points. He was a two-time all-area and all-Main Line honoree and served as team captain in 2001. For his career, he scored 57 goals and had 45 assists for 159 points.
Young was awarded the Golden Boot and named most valuable player for the FC Delco U-16 championship club team. In 2001, FC Delco won the state and regional championship and finished second in the nation. He was also a four-year member of the EPYSA Olympic Development Program from 1997-2001.
