Two Men's Soccer Players Earn All-Region Honors

Keeyan Young (second team) and Jacob Kring (third team) are named to the All-Mid Atlantic Teams.
PITTSBURGH- Two University of Pittsburgh men?s soccer players were named to the 2004 NSCAA/adidas All-Mid-Atlantic Region team. Junior forward Keeyan Young garnered Second Team honors and senior midfielder Jacob Kring was named to the Third team.
Young (North Wales, PA / Haverford School) entered the 2004 season as a preseason All-Big East First Team Selection. Not to disappoint, he finished this season with seven goals and four assists. In his three seasons at Pittsburgh, Young has scored a total of 18 goals and added 10 assists while starting all 51 of his career games.
Kring (Johnstown, PA / Westmont) served as the backbone to the Panthers? defense this past season. As team captain, Kring started all 17 games, and 38 games throughout his career. He has registered 16 career shots and one assist.
Pittsburgh finished the season 6-8-3 overall and 3-6-1 in the Big East.
