The Pitt-Syracuse Game Story:
After facing new Big East foes in Cincinnati and South Florida the last two weeks, Pitt will now play one of its oldest Eastern rivals in the Syracuse Orange.
Pitt and Syracuse first played in 1916 and have met every year since 1955.
Pitt seeks its third consecutive win after back-to-back victories over Cincinnati and South Florida. A win over Syracuse would even the Panthers' season record at 4-4.
