GAME NOTES
*With the win, Pitt begins its season at 9-0 for the fourth consecutive season. The 9-0 start ranks tied for the sixth best start in season history. Last year, Pitt went 10-0 to begin its season. Pitt's nine straight wins rank tied for eighth among the school's all-time win streaks. The school record is 22 wins set between Dec. 4, 1973-Feb. 20, 1974.
*Pitt held its eighth consecutive opponent under 60 points. The Panthers have now held eight of their nine opponents under 60 points.
