The game marked Pitt's first regular season contest as the Panthers drop to 0-1-0 on the young season.
Pitt began the scoring in the 17th minute when Brendon Smith redirected a corner kick from Steve Cavalier.
Drexel struck back with the equalizer eight minutes later when Stuart Irvine sent a cross from 25 yards out into the goal box. Mike Crosse jumped for the header, effectively screening Pitt keeper
Justin Lowry and allowing the ball to sneak into the far corner of the net.
Drexel took a 2-1 lead moments later on Mike Crosse's first goal of the game on an assist from Derek Bickford.
The Drexel score came in the 80th minute when Crosse converted his second goal on assists from Chris Schieve and Kyle O'Connor.
Capping off the weekend tournament, Pitt looks to bounce back against LaSalle. That game is slated for noon on Sunday.
