BLOOMINGTON, IN--A day after taking second on the 3M board, sophomore Aleksandr Volovetski of Pitt's men's swimming and diving team also placed second on the 1M board at the Indiana Open Invitational.

Competing against 20 other divers, Volovetski (Brandon, Fla./Armwood) finished second with 330.65 points during the 1M prelims, but slipped to third with 330.85 points in the semis.

Volvetski then returned and finished second in the finals with 329.85 points.

The Pitt divers travel to New Jersey on Dec. 1 for the Rutgers Diving Invitational.
