PANTHERS SET TO WRESTLE HUSKIES IN CONFERENCE OPENER THIS EVENING

PITTSBURGH - The Pitt wrestling team will open its home and conference slate tonight when it takes on Bloomsburg at 7 p.m. in the Fitzgerald Field House. The Panthers (1-0) defeated Rider in their season opener and will look to earn their first EWL win of the season when they face the Huskies (0-0).
Panther fans can expect some excitement at 133 between Pitt's Drew Headlee (Waynesburg, Pa./Waynesburg) and Bloomsburg's Ricky Donald. Headlee's 5-0 this season and was recently named EWL Wrestler of the Week.
The match at 165 could also be a battle as Pitt's Sean Richmond (Emmaus, Pa./Easton) takes on Bloomsburg's Ricky Schmelyun, and the heavyweight matchup between Pitt's Zach Sheaffer (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and Bloomsburg's Mike Spaid also has the potential to be a close one.
