The 400 medley relay team, who stopped the clock at 3:56.37, earned the first swimming event victory for the Panthers. Members of the team were senior Andrea Shoust (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont./White Pines C & VS), sophomore Ruth Seiffert (Boothwyn, Pa/Garnet Valley), junior Brittany Stevens (Peachtree City, Ga./Starr Mill's/Florida State) and senior Kristin Brown (East Berlin, Pa./Bermundian Springs).
All the members of the winning relay team went on to win individual races as well. First up was Seiffert in the 1000 free with a time of 10:32.32. Brown followed with a win in the 200 free at 1:49.94, setting a Keating Natorium pool record.
Later in the 50 free Shoust and junior Kelly O'Hara (Voorhees, N.J./Timber Creek) finished first and second with times of 24.34 and 24.53, respectively.

Next, Shoust earned her third first-place effort in the 200 back (2:03.07), finishing nearly seven seconds faster than freshman Lisa McDonnell (
Leading the pack in the 500 free, Mago touched the wall at 4:58.91, while Sieffert earned a top finish in the 200 breast (2:21.80).
