Game Story

Pitt looks to snap its two-game losing streak when it travels to East Hartford to meet Connecticut in a Big East contest. Already bowl eligible, the Panthers are looking to bolster their postseason resume with a victory.

Pitt seeks its seventh victory on the year. The Panthers have won at least seven contests in five of the last six seasons.

The Panthers have played at Connecticut only once, losing 29-17 during the 2004 season, the Huskies' inaugural year as a Big East Football Conference member.

With a victory, Pitt would finish 4-1 in away contests this year, its most wins on the road since the 2003 campaign.

TELEVISION: The Pitt-Connecticut game will be televised by ESPN Regional and shown locally on WTAE-TV, channel 4, in Pittsburgh. Bob Picozzi (play-by-play) and Doug Graber (color) form the broadcast crew.
