PITTSBURGH - • Junior placekicker Conor Lee has converted on 64 consecutive extra points. Lee was 47 for 47 last season and began this season by converting each of his 17 PATs in the first six contests. Lee surpassed Carson Long's school record of 60 consecutive PATs, which was set during the 1974-75 season, when he converted on his second extra point of the night with 9:04 left in the 2nd quarter.
• Freshman running back LeSean McCoy's three touchdowns on the night gave him nine for the season and rank second all-time among freshman running backs. He surpassed Curvin Richards, who had eight in 1988, with a 21-yard score early in the fourth quarter.
• Tonight marked McCoy's second three-touchdown performance of the year. The first came on September 8th against Grambling State.
• McCoy finished the night with 165 yards on a career-high 32 carries. It marked his third 100-yard performance this season.
• Junior fullback Conredge Collins rushed for a career-high 52 yards, eclipsing his previous best of 33 which he set against Michigan State last season.
• Eric Thatcher recorded a career-high 12 tackles, surpassing his previous high of eight which he set against Michigan State on September 16, 2006.
• Pitt's 45 points tonight was their height offensive output this season and the most points scored by the Panthers since they posted 52 last season at Central Florida (10/13/06).
• Freshman quarterback Pat Bostick recorded his first career rushing touchdown on a 1-yard run in the first overtime period.
• Redshirt sophomore tight end John Pelusi hauled in two passes for a career best 26 yards. His previous high was 20 earlier this season against Eastern Michigan.
