PITT-OKLAHOMA STATE POST-GAME NOTES

*Levance Fields finished the day with six assists, giving him 300 for his career and tying him with Demetreus Gore (1984-88) for 14^th on Pitt's all-time list. He also surpassed Jaron Brown (295 assists from 2005-08).

*DeJuan Blair tied a career high with his 20 points and set a career-highs for blocked shots (five) and minutes played (31). He has scored in double figures in seven of 10 games on the year. It was his fourth career double-double.

*With his 15 points, Sam Young has reached double figure scoring in 18 of his last 21 games played. He has reached double figures in each of Pitt's 10 games this year.

*Mike Cook posted a season-high 15 points today. His previous best was 14 (twice, at Washington, 12/8; Toledo, 12/1)

*Ronald Ramon's five rebounds marked a season high. Ramon's five assists and three steals were also season bests. His previous highs were four (Houston Baptist, 11/10) and two (Boston U.,11/27), respectively. He also played a season-high 34 minutes today.

*Pitt improved to 10-0 for the fifth consecutive season.

*Pitt's 10-0 start ranks tied for sixth on Pitt's all-time best season starts list. The school record is a 21-0 record in 1927-28.

*With the victory and 10-0 record, Pitt entered the day as one of the nation's 15 undefeated teams.

*With the victory, Pitt won its 10^th non-conference game for the seventh consecutive season. *Pitt won its 27^th consecutive home game against a non-conference opponent. Pitt needs one more victory against Lafayette on Jan. 2, 2008 to tie its school record of 28 consecutive home wins against non-conference opponents set from Nov, 23, 2002-Jan. 2, 2005.

*Pitt improves to 55-1 vs. non-conference opponents at the Petersen Events Center. Additionally, Pitt has won 76 of its last 77 home games against regular season non-conference opponents.

*Pitt improves to 88-8 all-time in the Petersen Events Center. Head Coach Jamie Dixon now owns a 72-8 home record in his fifth season at the helm.

*Pitt Head Coach Jamie Dixon improved to 32-2 in games played in December. He is also 24-0 in games played in November. Combining his November and December records, Dixon owns a 56-2 record in pre-January contests and is now 58-3 vs. non-conference competition. Additionally, Dixon improved to 115-30 all-time as Pitt's head coach.

*Pitt also won the 34^th of its last 36 games against non-conference opponents.

*With its win, Pitt snapped a three-game losing streak in the series and improved to 4-4 all-time vs. Oklahoma State. Pitt also improved to 14-10 all-time vs. Big 12 opponents.
