PITT-DUQUESNE POST-GAME NOTES
*With his 23 points on the evening, Sam Young registered his fourth 20-point scoring evening of the season. Young has reached double figure scoring in each of Pitt's eight games and in 16 of his last 19 contests.
*Mike Cook scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half. The game marked Cook's 26th career double figure scoring contest and fifth in eight games this year.
*DeJuan Blair finished with 10 points and nine rebounds. He has reached double figure scoring in five of eight games this year.
*Pitt held Duquesne to 38.5 percent (25-65) field goal shooting. Pitt has held seven of its eight opponents to 40.0 percent shooting or less on the year.
*Pitt has outrebounded each of its eight opponents on the season.

*Pitt appeared on ESPN-U for the third time in school history. It first appeared on the network on November 12, 2006 vs. Western Michigan in the Maggie Dixon and at home last year against West Virginia (Feb. 27, 2007). It is now 3-0 in appearances on ESPN-U.
