PITTSBURGH -
• Game captains for Pitt were #40 Scott McKillop, #50 NG Rashaad Duncan, #34 RB LaRod Stephens-Howling, #55 C C.J. Davis and #37 PK Conor Lee.
• PK Conor Lee extended his career point after touchdown record to 109. He is perfect for his career.
• Lee also has 253 points in his career, which is fourth all-time in Pitt scoring. Third is Andy Hastings, who scored 255 points from 1914-16 and 1919.
• WR Derek Kinder has now moved into a tie for 11th place in all-time receiving yardage with 1,547 over four seasons. Kinder finished the day with one reception for 30 yards.
• Dom DeCicco’s fourth quarter interception is his third of the season, which leads the team.
• RB LeSean McCoy’s 183 rushing yards gives him 13 100-yard rushing performances in just his second season. It is also his sixth this season.
• McCoy’s 183 yards on 33 carries is a career high for the sophomore. His previous career high was 172 yards on 25 carries at Michigan State on Sept. 15, 2007.
• RB LeSean McCoy’s rushing TD gives him 20 touchdowns this season and 35 on his career (34 rushing). With that TD, McCoy breaks Larry Fitzgerald’s total of 34 career touchdowns from his freshman and sophomore seasons.
• McCoy’s total of 35 TDs is also surpasses Fitzgerald for second in Pitt history for career TDs. The number is now second only to Tony Dorsett’s 63 career TDs.
• CB Jovani Chappel’s 14-yard interception return in the fourth quarter marks the first of his career.
