Women's Volleyball Hosts Louisville and Cincinnati

PITTSBURGH—Pitt’s women’s volleyball team returns home to host two Big East foes, as Louisville and Cincinnati travel to Fitzgerald Field House, this weekend. The Panthers play the Cardinals on Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m., and then face the Bearcats for a match on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m.
Pitt (15-10, 7-3 Big East) is coming off a 3-1 victory over Rutgers, marking its fifth consecutive road win in conference play. The Panthers are undefeated in away league matches.
Senior Kelly Campbell (Mansfield, Ohio/Mansfield/Pacific) posted a double-double in the match with 14 kills and 10 digs, while classmate Stephanie Ross (Dayton, Ohio/Chaminade-Julienne) added six kills and 10 digs in the victory over the Scarlet Knights.
Additionally, senior Jessica Moses (North Olmstead, Ohio/Lutheran West) recorded five blocks and eight kills, while sophomore Imani Harper (Yonkers, N.Y./The Master’s School/Temple) earned a career-high five blocks in the match.
Louisville (12-10, 8-3 BIG EAST) is coming off a shutout win over South Florida (3-0). Leading the Cardinals, Justine Landi posted a triple-double with 14 kills, 11 digs and 19 assists. Pitt trails Louisville 4-7 in the series.
In its last match, Cincinnati (22-5, 9-2 BIG EAST) defeated Georgetown, 3-0. Jessie Nevitt led the Bearcats with 11 kills and six digs. The Panthers hold a 7-4 lead in the series.
