PITTSBURGH -
The Pitt athletic department has announced that it will be offering free tickets to the Meineke Car Care Bowl for Pitt students who are able to make the trip to Charlotte for the Dec. 26 game, which features No. 16 Pitt vs. North Carolina.
Only Pitt students will be extended the offer and they are encouraged to call or stop by the Panther Ticket Office by Dec. 23 to reserve their ticket to the game. In addition, students may reserve their ticket online at www.PittsburghPanthers.com up until Dec. 25. When arriving at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, students will need to show their Pitt identification in order to receive their ticket.
Those wanting to attend with a non-Pitt student may purchase additional seats, which can be placed together. Those additional tickets, however, must also be purchased prior to the bowl game either online by Dec. 25, or by calling or visiting the Panther Ticket Office by Dec. 23. No day of game purchases will be honored in conjunction with the complimentary student tickets.
The Panthers and Tar Heels will meet in the Meineke Car Care Bowl Saturday, Dec. 26 at 4:30 p.m. at Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers.
