Men's Cross Country Places 14th At NCAA Regional Meet

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.¯Pitt's men's cross country team ended its season at the 72nd annual NCAA Division I Mid-Atlantic Regional meet, hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore at the UMES Golf Range in November.
The Panthers placed 14th overall in the 28-team field, including Rutgers (17) and Seton Hall (28). As a team, Pitt turned in a 2:50:31.1 performance.
Junior Teddy Miller led the Panthers with a 49th-place finish out of a field of 186 runners. Miller held a 5:25 mile pace and crossed the line with a final time of 33:37.8.
Junior Josh Christopher stopped the clock 10 runners later with a time of 33:54.6.
Then, freshman Chase Broussard finished at the 33:58.5 mark for 63rd overall.
Freshman Vinnie DePalma and senior Sam Weiser finished under 35 minutes for a top-100 performances, while senior Kyle Kaminski rounded out the Panthers.
