NOTRE DAME, Ind.—Sophomore Adam Maczewski and freshman Robert Power of the men's swimming and diving team earned Panther of the Meet honors to open Big East conference action at Notre Dame, this afternoon. Pitt fell to 1-2 on the year and 0-1 in league action, while the Fighting Irish improved to 1-0 in their first dual meet of the season.
The Panthers jumped out in front after winning the first two swimming events of the day. However, Pitt would soon find themselves placing second and/or third in a few events to come.
