Backyard Brawl Set for Noon at Heinz Field

PITTSBURGH—The 103rd edition of the “Backyard Brawl” between Pitt and West Virginia — held this year on Friday, Nov. 26, at Heinz Field — will be nationally televised by ABC and kick off at noon, it was announced today by the Big East Conference.
The game will be aired in Pittsburgh on WTAE-TV (channel 4).
One of college football’s oldest and most colorful rivalries, Pitt leads the Backyard Brawl series, 61-38-3. The Panthers have won two of the past three meetings, including the last encounter in Pittsburgh, 19-15, in 2008.
