Baseball Honored at Ceremony During Notre Dame Game

PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh baseball team was honored in a ceremony at Heinz Field during the Pitt football team's 28-21 victory over Notre Dame.
In front of a packed house at Heinz Field, the Panthers were honored for their school-record 42 wins during the 2013 season.
Additionally, Pitt's All-American's, All-Region and All-Big East honorees were recognized during the ceremony as was 2013 Big East Coach of the Year Joe Jordano.
Pitt returns 16 letterwinners, including six of the nine bats in the lineup and two-thirds of the weekend rotation, from a team that won a school-record 42 games in 2013.
