•Pitt improved to 16-1 on the season and 4-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) with an 81-74 win at Georgia Tech. Pitt maintains a tie for first place atop the ACC with No. 2 Syracuse (4-0). Pitt plays at No. 2 Syracuse on Saturday at 4 p.m.
•Pitt improved to 4-0 in league play for the first time since the 2010-11 season. Pitt went 7-0 in 2010-11 before its first league loss.
•Pitt won its fourth consecutive road game and has now claimed eight of its last 10 road contests.
•Jamie Dixon now owns a perfect 15-0 record vs. previous ACC teams and a 31-10 overall record vs. current ACC teams (including Syracuse and Notre Dame).
•As a team, Pitt shot 56.9 percent (29-51) from the floor, its third highest field goal percentage of the season.
•Senior Talib Zanna led Pitt with 22 points (8-10 FG), just one shy of his career-high. His nine rebounds also led the Panthers. He is now averaging a team-high 9.8 rebounds in four ACC games and has paced the team in rebounding in each of the last six games. It marked his fifth consecutive double figure scoring game, his 13th of the year and 40th of his career.
•With his 16 points, James Robinson set a new career-high for scoring and tied a career-high for field goals made (five). It was his fourth double figure scoring game of the season and 11th of his career. Robinson also registered a career-high tying four steals.
•Senior Lamar Patterson notched his 14th consecutive double figure scoring game with 12 points. It was his 16th double figure scoring game in 17 contests this year and 53rd of his career. He also tied a career-high with seven assists.
•Cameron Wright finished with 14 points and four assists. It marked his 10th double figure scoring game of the year and 14th of his career. It was his first game in double figures since ACC play began.
•Pitt played its first game without Durand Johnson, who is sidelined for the rest of the season with an ACL and meniscus tear in his right knee.
•Pitt yielded its most points of the year, 74 vs. Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech represented the first ACC team to score 70 or more points against the Panthers this year. Pitt has held 15 of its 17 opponents to 70 points or less.
•Pitt won its first all-time game against Georgia Tech and improved to 1-5 all-time vs. the Yellow Jackets. Pitt is now 1-3 vs. Georgia Tech in games played in Atlanta.
