Corey Baker (Palm Beach Cardinals - Class A Advanced | Florida State League): In the final week of the regular season, Baker was promoted back up to the Springfield Cardinals of the Double-A level. He started his second straight game, however produced similar results to his prior appearance with Palm Beach. In four innings, he surrendered three runs on six hits while striking out four. Baker didn't earn a decision in the game.

Raymond Black (San Jose Giants - Class A | California League): Black continued to pitch well since his recent call up to San Jose. He pitched in two games, tossing an inning in each. The first outing was a scoreless inning while despite giving up a run in his second, Black struck out three batters.

David Chester: (Portland Sea Dogs - Double-A | Eastern League): Chester only had one day off last week, playing is six of the Sea Dogs' games. He batted .211 (4-19) with two RBIs and two runs scored. Chester hit his 10th homer of the year in the series opener against Reading, and in the finale, had a multi-hit game

Luke Curtis (Wisconsin Timber Rattlers - Class A | Midwest League): Curtis continues to pitch well with Wisconisn, lowering his ERA all the way down to 3.86 from 14.73 just a month and a half ago. In two relief appearances lasting 4.2 innings, Curtis went 1-0 with three strikeouts.

Adam Dian (AZL Rangers - Rookie | Arizona League): Dian made two appearances last week, struggling in one, but boucing back for a soild performance in the second. After allowing two runs on two hits in just 0.2 innings earlier in the week, Dian gave up just one hit in 1.1 innings on Sunday

Joe Harvey (Staten Island Yankees - Class A Short Season | New York-Penn League): In his only appearance last week, Harvey struck out two and yielded just two hits in two innings of work. Harvey lowered his ERA for the seventh consecutive game, dropping to a measley 1.96 on the year with Staten Island.
