Corey Baker (Springfield Cardinals - Class AA | Texas League): Baker concluded his season in Springfield, with a late season call-up to the Texas League. The righty closed out the season by earning his career win at the Double-A level. He finished his fourth big-league season with a 2.86 ERA and a career-high 37 appearances, 91.1 innings and 64 strikeouts.

Raymond Black (San Jose Giants - Class A | California League): In his first professional campaign, Black went 2-3 with a 3.57 ERA. He pitched well in San Jose after being called up to Class A Advanced, posting an ERA of 2.25 in four innings ehile going 1-0

David Chester: (Portland Sea Dogs - Double-A | Eastern League): Chester's Sead Dogs were eliminated in the decisive fifth game of the Eastern League's Eastern Deivision Championship Series on Sunday. He played in four of the five games and batted .313 (5-16) in the series with two homers and six RBIs. Chester recorded a hit in all four games.
On the season, however, Chester finished with a .228 batting average, spending the bluk of his time in Portland (61 of his 83 games). He had 10 homers and 46 RBIs on the year

Luke Curtis (Wisconsin Timber Rattlers - Class A | Midwest League): Curtis and the Timber Rattlers advanced to the Midwest League playoffs, where they were knocked out in the first round by Kane County. Curtis made one appearance in the best-of-three series and gave up three hits and no runs in three innings.
Curtis closed out his first professional season with a 1-2 record and three saves with a 3.77 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 28.2 innings.

Adam Dian (AZL Rangers - Rookie | Arizona League): Dian had a late start to his professional debut, signing on with the Rangers in late July, but he made the most of his time, pitching in 6 games and posting a 5.40 ERA in five innings of work.

Joe Harvey (Staten Island Yankees - Class A Short Season | New York-Penn League): Despite an 0-2 record, Harvey pitched brilliantly in his first professional season, notching a 1.74 ERA with two saves in three chances. He struck out 19 and issued only five walks between the Rookie League and Class A Short Season.

Matt Iannazzo (Bridgeport Bluefish - Independent League): The Independent League rolls on through mid-September, so Iannazzo still had a few games left to pitch. He lost his last start, despite allowing just three runs on five hits in seven innings of work.

Joe Leonard (Gwinnett Braves - Triple-A | International League): Leonard went out with a bang, going 4-for-4, blasting just his second homer of the season to go along with two doubles and 3 RBIs in Gwinnett's season-finale on Sept. 1. To end the season, Leonard hit .457 (21-46) between August and September, raising his Triple-A average from .184 before August to .278. The .263 season-long average is Leonard's second highest for his five-year career.

Ethan Mildren (Fort Myers Miracle - Class A Advanced | Florida State League): Mildren and the Miracle currently lead the Daytona Cubs two games to one in the Florida State League Championship series. The former Pitt pitcher sat down the Cubs in game two of the series, scattering five hits and four walks, but not allowing a single run to cross the plate in five innings for the win.
For the regular season, Midlren, in his second pro season, went 7-9 overall with a 4.63 ERA. He tossed his first complete game shutout with Fort Myers after being promoted from Cedar Rapids.

Nate Reed (Salem Red Sox - Class A Advanced | Carolina League): Reed's season came to an end on Friday when Salem lost game three in the best-of-three series to Myrtle Beach in the Souther Dicision Championship series. Reed made a brief stint on Friday, throwing 1.2 innings and striking out one while allowing just one hit.
Reed had a solid year in his fifth season of big-league ball. The southpaw was 3-2 with a 4.48 ERA in 26 games.

John Schultz (Evansville Otters | Independent League): Evansville's season came to an end on Saturday, with a wild card round playoff loss in the Independent League. Schultz wrapped up the season with a .276 averafe and eight homers, 35 RBIs and 48 runs scored.

Kevan Smith (Birmingham Barons - Double-A | Southern League): Smith spent the entire season with Birmingham of the Double-A level. He had his highest batting average (.290) since playing in the Rookie League back in 2011. He added 10 homers, 48 RBIs and a total of 34 extra base hits.

Elvin Soto (Hillsboro Hops - Class A Short Season | Northwest League): Soto wrapped up his second season with Hillsboro with a career-best in nearly every category. His .256 average, 51 games, 26 runs, 46 hits, 10 doubles, five triples, three homers and 23 RBIs were all personal bests. Additionallu, Soto cut down on his strikeouts, whiffing only two more times this year in 27 less at-bats.
Although he didn't play at all in the postseason, Soto was instrumental in helping the Hops claim the Northwest League Championship.

Matt Wotherspoon (Staten Island Yankees - Class A | Short Season New York-Penn League): Just like former college and current pro teammate, Wotherspoon also had a stellar rookie season, all of with Staten Island. Despite a sub-.500 record at 2-3, Wotherspoon dominated opposing hitters, posting a 1.97 ERA with two saves and 29 strikeouts in 32 innings while they could only hit .193 off the hard-throwing righty.
