PITTSBURGH – Rain stopped the regular season finale for the University of Pittsburgh baseball team Saturday afternoon, as Pitt and Duke got four innings of action in before weather forced the cancellation.
The game was tied at 1-1 through four innings as a groundout RBI from Jacob Wright plated the only Pitt run of the game.
The game will not count for the Panthers as they wrap up the season at 25-26-0 and 10-18-0 in the ACC.
Saturday was also senior day as Pitt says goodbye to Matt Emge, Matt Johnson, Alex Kowalczyk, Aaron Sandefur, Aaron Schnurbusch, Ronnie Sherman and Garrett Wrambel.
