FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - Pitt sophomore Gillian Schriever finished in the top 30 out of 345 runners at the Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course Saturday.

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - Pitt sophomore Gillian Schriever finished in the top 30 out of 345 runners at the Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course Saturday.
AT THE FINISH LINE
- Schriever led the Panthers with a 29th-place finish at 22:25.9 in the 6K race
- As a team, the Pitt women finished 16th out of 34 teams. The field included nine USTFCCCA-ranked squads.
- On the men's side, Pitt finished 21st out of 29 teams. Eight of the 29 teams were ranked in the most recent USTFCCCA national poll.
- For the second consecutive meet, junior Aaron Lauer made the top finish for the Panthers. He came in 71st out of 275 runners at 26.14.4 in the 8K.
- Portland claimed both team wins, with the Pilots ranked No. 30 on the women's side and No. 19 on the men's side.
LOOKING AHEAD
- Next up for the women's team is the CMU Invitational at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh. The race will start at 10 a.m. ET Saturday, Oct. 8.
- The men and women will get a preview of the 2016 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals site when they race at PSU Nationals Friday, Oct. 14, in University Park, Pa.
