Meme Sharp Selected as ACC Diver of the Week

PITTSBURGH—Pitt senior diver Meme Sharp has been selected as the ACC Women's Diver of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Sharp received an ACC weekly diving award for the second time in her Pitt career after earning a pair of runner-up finishes at the Ohio State Invitational while competing against some of the top divers in the nation last weekend.
A former ACC diving champion, Sharp showed that she will be capable of competing for more honors this postseason after finishing the Ohio State Invitational as the ACC's top women's diver on both 1-meter springboard and 3-meter springboard.
Sharp placed second on 1-meter with 288.85 points and scored even more points on 3-meter with 315.00 to earn another second-place finish.
The Panthers will finish up 2017 at the USA Swimming Winter Nationals in Columbus, Ohio from Nov. 29 through Dec. 2 and the USA Diving Winter Nationals in Greensboro, N.C. from Dec. 13 through Dec. 19.
