My biggest strengths as a gymnast would be my ability to overcome obstacles and my work ethic.
What are some areas of the game you'd like to improve?
The area where I'd like to improve would be bars, as well as increasing my level of confidence on every event.
What is your (intended) major?
Rehabilitation Science
What are three words that describe you?
Positive, caring, motivated
What are your hobbies and interests outside of gymnastics?
I love to visit the dogs at Cathy every Tuesday night, hang out with my teammates and friends and go shopping.

I don't have any pre-meet rituals although I'm an extremely superstitious person about many different things in life.
What are some of the differences between your hometown and Pittsburgh?
Back in my hometown I lived on an island about 13 miles long in circumference and I lived on the water so coming to Pitt was a big transition since its city-living.

My dog, Rudy.
What is the best advice you've ever been given?
The best advice I've been given is to be the best Sophie that I can be and to never compare myself to others.
If you could meet three people (past or present) who would you want to meet? Why?
1. Will Ferrell because he's my favorite actor.
2. Jesus Christ because I'd have many questions to ask.
3. The President of the United States because I've always wanted to meet the President.
If you could be a star in any sport, other than gymnastics, which one would it be?
I would want to be a track star
Who had the greatest impact on your life? Why?
Both of my parents because they've shown me that hard work pays off and have taught me how to be independent.
