No. 18 Pitt Concludes Dual Season at Virginia

PITTSBURGH—The 18th-ranked Pitt wrestling team concludes the regular season with a road match up at Virginia, Friday at 7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.

NOTABLES

Mac Stout paces the Panthers' starting lineup with 20 wins. He has won 17 consecutive matches, dating back to Dec. 13. His two loses this season both came in November against Zac Braunagel (Illinois) and Michael Beard (Lehigh).
Stout leads the Panthers with a 20-2 record, including a 13-1 record in dual meets and a 5-0 mark against ACC opponents.
He has recorded a team-high 11 bonus point victories, including winning six of his last seven matches by bonus points.
Dylan Evans is second on the team with 18 wins. He has earned ranked wins in two of his last three matches, picking up wins over No. 11 Rafael Hipolito (Virginia Tech) and No. 18 Sonny Santiago (North Carolina).
Evans is the third-highest ranked wrestler at 157 in the ACC, behind Rafael Hipolito (Virginia Tech) and Ed Scott (NC State).
The Panthers were without 184-pound starter Reece Heller in the last two matches against Iowa State and Virginia Tech. Heller, ranked at No. 13 in the InterMat rankings, is the highest ranked ACC wrestler at 184. He improved in the rankings after defeating Dylan Fishback at NC State on Feb. 1.
Pitt has four wins against Top 25 ranked opponents. The Panthers have faced 10 ranked opponents in 15 duals this season.
The Panthers' six loses this season have all come against opponents ranked in the Top 25, including three of those loses being by three points or fewer - #5 Ohio State (L, 20-17), #14 South Dakota State (L, 18-15), #18 North Carolina (17-16).
