
Lemongo, Shelton Claim PNC Achiever of the Week Laurels

PITTSBURGH – Track and field student-athletes Norrah Lemongo and Jaden Shelton have been named PNC Achievers of the Week following standout performances at the Florida Relays.
Lemongo, a sophomore from Cameroon, came just 0.01 meters shy of tying the school record with a personal-best shot put of 16.79 meters, earning sixth place in the invitational section of the meet. She currently ranks second in the ACC and 18th nationally in the event. Lemongo also recorded a personal best in the hammer throw, placing 23rd with a mark of 54.68 meters. The throw moved her from eighth to sixth on the program's all-time top-10 list.
Shelton, a native of Delmar, Md., finished eighth in the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 13.78 seconds. He won his preliminary heat in 13.91 seconds and climbed from 10th to sixth on the men's all-time top-10 list. Shelton ranks second in the ACC and 29th nationally in the event.
