Pitt Lands 332 on 2024-25 ACC Academic Honor Roll

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh placed 332 student-athletes on the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Academic Honor Roll for the 2024-25 year, as announced by the league office Friday evening.
The ACC Academic Honor Roll includes student-athletes who participated in varsity-level sports and maintained a grade point average of 3.0 or higher throughout the academic year. In total, a league record 7,945 ACC student-athletes garnered accolades.
Friday marked the fifth straight year the Panthers topped 290 honorees and the third consecutive year with more than 300.
Of note, nine Pitt student-athletes were honored for the fifth time in their collegiate careers: Rashad Battle - Football, Cat Flood - Volleyball, Maureen McNierney - Lacrosse, Chloe Minas - Women's Soccer, Sam Otis - Cross Country/Track & Field, Jackson Salisbury - Swimming, Ilse Steigenga - Track & Field, Abby Thorne - Lacrosse, Sophie Yendell - Swimming. Additionally, 26 Panthers received their fourth career honor.
