
Pitt-Texas A&M Time Announced for 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge

PITTSBURGH – Pitt's home game against Texas A&M in the 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge will tipoff at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, and will be nationally televised on ESPNU, as announced by ESPN Wednesday morning.
Pitt topped the Aggies, 79-62, in the Sugar Bowl Classic on Dec. 27, 1985, in the only previous meeting between the two schools. Charles Smith scored a game-high 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field and an 8-of-8 effort from the foul line, while Curtis Aiken added an efficient 21 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field. The Panthers grabbed a four-point lead at the half before going 20-of-31 (.645) from the field in the second half to blow the game open.
