Multiple Panthers Record Career Highs in Loss to No. 13 North Carolina

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Pitt saw multiple Panthers post career highs Friday night, but the Panthers (0-3, 0-2 ACC) ultimately fell to No. 13 North Carolina (3-2, 1-1 ACC), 196.525–195.350, at Carmichael Arena.
Bars
Hallie Copperwheat led Pitt on bars with a 9.800. Jaime Pratt, Emily Todd and Julie Røttum Madsø followed, each earning a 9.750.
Vault
The Panthers turned in a strong performance on vault, posting a season-high 48.950. Olivia Giunta recorded a personal-best 9.825, while freshman Lailah Green earned a career-high 9.800. Freshmen Makenzie Grant and Layla Bobek each notched career-high 9.775s, with Kennedy Duke matching the score.
Floor
Meika Lee continued to lead the Panthers on floor with a 9.825. Jaime Pratt and Madi Bell followed with 9.800s, marking a personal best for Bell. Freshman Mali Morgan added a 9.750.
Beam
Copperwheat capped her night with a 9.825 on beam, while Morgan earned a 9.800. Camryn Chiu contributed a 9.750 on the event.
Up Next
Pitt heads back on the road for a quad meet at West Virginia on Friday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m. Cornell and Kent State will also compete. The meet will be streamed on ESPN+.
