Pitt Falls to No. 14 Clemson, Copperwheat Shares Bars Title

PITTSBURGH – Hallie Copperwheat earned a share of the bars title Sunday evening, matching her season-high 9.900, but the Panthers (1-8, 0-5 ACC) fell to No. 14 Clemson (3-4, 2-3 ACC), 196.875-195.225, at the Fitzgerald Field House.
Vault
Makenzie Grant posted a career-high 9.825 with a standout vault, while Olivia Giunta matched her personal best with an identical score. Layla Bobek and Jaime Pratt each scored a 9.775, and Kennedy Duke added a 9.750.
Bars
Copperwheat recorded her second 9.900 of the season to lead the Panthers. Sophomore Meika Lee followed with a 9.800, while Camryn Chiu and Pratt each earned a 9.775.
Beam
Bobek delivered a career-best 9.875 in a strong performance on beam. Copperwheat continued her impressive night with a 9.825.
Floor
Emily Todd scored a 9.800, marking the second consecutive meet she has reached that mark. Lee contributed a 9.775 to round out the Panthers' floor lineup.
