Chris Tonte joined the Panthers as a transfer from Lackawanna Community College...played for two seasons under head coach Chris Pensak...earned All-Region 19 team honors and garnered with Region 19 runner-up for Player of the Year as a freshman...voted Player of the Year by teammates as a freshman...helped lead team to Region 19 Championship title as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL Tonte was a three-year member of the Pittston Area High School baseball team after an injury kept him from playing as a freshman...led the team to three-straight Conference Championships, as well as a District Title in 2007...had a career average of .424, notching a career-high .457 as a senior.
