2016-17 Season
- Capped her stellar Pitt career with numerous honors and a trip to NCAAs
- One of three Pitt student-athletes to receive an ACC Postgraduate Scholarship
- Also earned her first CSCAA First Team Scholar All-America honor
- All-ACC Academic Team selection for a third time
- Won both breaststroke events against Boston College and Georgia Tech (Oct. 8)
- Once again, took top spot in the 100 and 200 breast vs. Buffalo (Oct. 28)
- Won the 200 breast in a tri-meet with Notre Dame and Virginia Tech (Nov. 4-5)
- Set personal records in her three marquee events at the Ohio State Invite (Nov. 18-20)
- Over winter break, raced at Polish Winter Nationals, earning six top-three finishes
- Once again scored in multiple events at the ACC Championships (Feb. 13-17)
- Placed 16th in the 100 breast with a B Final time of 1:02.22
- Also took 24th in the 200 breast, despite battling illness during the meet
- Her top times earned Cichowska a first trip to the NCAA Championships (March 16-18)
- Placed 39th in the 200 breast with a strong time of 2:11.83
- Also finished 41st in the 100 breast at NCAAs in 1:01.32
- Became a three-time CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American
- All-ACC Academic Swimming & Diving Team for the second time
- Continued to compete at a very high level in numerous events
- Opened with wins in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM over Duke (Oct. 3)
- Repeated those trio of wins against another ACC foe, Georgia Tech (Oct. 17)
- Resumed her dominance by collecting wins against Bucknell (Oct. 24), West Virginia (Jan. 9) and Denison (Jan. 16) and at the Pitt Invite (Nov. 20-22), Big Al Open (Dec. 4-6) and the Western PA Invite (Jan. 29-30)
- Concluded the season with another strong ACC Championships (Feb. 17-20)
- Reached two A Finals, placing seventh in both the 100 breast and 200 breast
- Her respective finals times of 1:00.90 and 2:13.00 were among her career-bests
- Was also a 28th-place finisher in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:02.42
- Helped Pitt finish ninth at ACCs in the 400 medley relay with a school record of 3:39.37
- CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America for the second time
- All-ACC Academic Swimming & Diving Team
- Proved to be a consistent event-winner for the Panthers as a sophomore
- Opened season by sweeping the breast events against Duke (Oct. 11)
- Repeated the feat against Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern (Oct. 18)
- Posted a 100 breast (1:02.48) NCAA B cut in a win over St. Bonaventure (Oct. 24)
- Won three events in a dominating team win over Bucknell (Oct. 25)
- Swept her Pitt Invite (Nov. 21-23) events, winning the 200 IM, 100 breast and 200 breast
- That meet, posted new Pitt records in the 100 breast (1:01.12) and 200 breast (2:11.25)
- Raced in B Finals at AT&T Winter Nationals (Dec. 3-6) in both breaststroke events,
- Continued to win events regularly at meets leading up to the postseason
- Proved herself as one of the conference's top breaststrokers at the ACCs (Feb. 18-21)
- Reached the ACC A Final in the 200 breast, placing sixth in 2:11.46
- Also took 12 in the 100 breast with a B Final time of 1:01.77
- Finished her season with more victories at the ECAC Championships (Feb. 27-March 1)
- Set a meet record in the 100 breast (1:01.45) to win and placed third in the 200 breast
- Helped set a new Pitt record in the 200 medley relay (1:40.48) as well
- CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America
- Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll
- Immediately established herself as a dynamic breaststroke swimmer
- Won the 200 breast vs. St. Bonaventure (Oct. 19) and Bucknell (Oct. 26)
- At the Pitt Invitational (Nov. 22-24), won the 400 medley relay, 100 breast and 200 breast
- Competed at AT&T Winter Nationals (Dec. 5-7), broke four Pitt school records
- Individually, set new Pitt standards in the 100 breast (1:01.61) and 200 breast (2:12.02)
- Also helped the Panthers post new school records in both medley relays
- Had a tremendous outing at her first ACC Championships (Feb. 19-22)
- Finished 15th in the 200 breast with a B Final time of 2:15.8
- Also scored by placing 23rd in the 100 breast with a C Final swim of 1:03.37
- Set the Individual Record in the 200M breast at the 2012 Grand Prix Polish Cup
- Won gold medals at the Polish Championships in the 100M breast and 200M breast
- Took top prize at the Polish Junior Championships in the 100M breast and 200M breast
- At the National Junior Olympics, won the 100M breast and 200M breast
- Won gold in the 100M breast her freshman year at the Polish Championships
