SOPHOMORE (2006): Conley appeared in 48 games for the Panthers in the outfield, starting in 47...was among team leaders in batting average (.281), hits (54) and RBI (34)...also tallied six doubles and one homerun...recorded 73 putouts and three assists without an error for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage...tallied a career-high four singles and career-high four RBI in a 10-5 win over St. Joseph[apos]s...went 4-6 in a 18-8 win over Duquesne with four singles, three runs scored and two RBI...contributed two key hits in close 9-8 loss to Kent State...helped Pitt to a three-run win over Cleveland State with three hits, including a two-run homer, the first of his career, a double and a single for three RBI...tallied three hits and three RBI in an 11-9 win over Connecticut...earned 100th career hit while going 3-5 in a 14-0 shutout vs. Georgetown...had a 10th inning, game-winning double vs. Georgetown to give Pitt its first extra-innings win of the season...tied a career-high with an eight-game hitting streak that ran from April 23 to May 10...tallied 15 multi-hit games.
FRESHMAN (2005): Conley started 49 games in the outfield while playing a total of 52 as a freshman...led all freshmen with a .299 batting average, 26 RBI and 13 stolen bases...ranked third on the team in steals and in walks (31)...had an eight-game hitting streak that stretched from March 29-April 9, in which he scored five times and drove in seven more...had a season-best three hits to go along with two RBI in the win over Kent State...also had three hits vs. Wagner, Connecticut and Ohio...stole three bases in an early-season contest vs. LaSalle...hit .357 in the Big East Championship tournament with three stolen bases...had two hits and two walks in the Panthers[apos] upset of St. John[apos]s in the first game of the tournament...also had two hits in the Panthers[apos] first loss of the tournament to Notre Dame.
HIGH SCHOOL: Conley broke numerous records at Blackhawk, including hits in a season (40), runs scored in a season (37), career hits (89) and stolen bases in career (35)...member of the 2004 WPIAL Championship team...earned All-Conference and first team All-State honors as a senior...named Pittsburgh Post-Gazette All Star and Pittsburgh Tribune-Review All Star as junior and senior...played in the State All-Star Game...played for Blackhawk Legion from 2002-04 and helped his team become Beaver County Champs all three years...member of National Honor Society.
