JUNIOR (2005): Jimmy Mayer played in 46 games, starting 43 as the Panthers[apos] shortstop as a junior...hit an impressive .317 to rank third on the team with 29 runs scored and 51 hits...had 10 extra-base hits, including a career-best nine doubles and drove in 22 runs...among the team leaders with 11 stolen bases in 14 attempts...recorded at least two hits on 12 occasions...had a personal-best 10-game hitting streak that stretched from April 16-May 9...had six runs and seven RBIs during the 10 games, while batting .432...drove in a career-high six runs in the win over Youngstown State, finishing 3-for-6 with three doubles and two runs scored...had four hits in a game twice, vs. La Salle on March 7 and in the first game of a doubleheader vs. Villanova on April 16...had three hits and two stolen bases in the Panthers[apos] four games at the Big East Championship tournament.

FRESHMAN (2003): In limited action, was the primary backup to Bryan Spamer at shortstop...played in nine games, starting one (Mount St. Mary[apos]s, March 4)...batted .200 on the year with two RBIs...had first career hit as a pinch-hitter at New Orleans...had one hit in two at-bats versus Chicago State while scoring once and driving in another run...was hit by-a-pitch twice, scored once and drove in a run at Niagara...tallied one hit in three tries at Kent State.
