The University of Pittsburgh Cheer and Dance Teams annually rank among the finest in all of college athletics. That lofty stature was reaffirmed this past Spring with a pair of outstanding performances at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) and National Dance Alliance (NDA) Collegiate National Championships held in Daytona Beach, FL.
With more than 480 universities from across the country in attendance, the Panthers' Cheerleaders finished Fourth in Division IA Small Coed. Additionally, the Panthers' Dance Team placed Fifth in the Division IA Pom competition as well a a Top Twenty finish in an incredible Division 1A Jazz.
