SOPHOMORE (2009)
The 2009 season was a learning experience for Chris Harner, he saw very little action but honed his skills for 2010...made one appearance in relief and allowed zero earned runs against a strong Ohio State team on March 13.

HIGH SCHOOL
Harner joins the Panthers from nearby Fox Chapel High School...played under Head Coach Don Schubert for four seasons...was a true utility player, seeing time on the mound and in both the infield and outfield...led the team to a 7-4 win after pitching a complete, four-hit game against top-ranked and eventual WPIAL Champions, North Allegheny...had an 8-4 combined record during 2006 and 2007... played summer ball for the Pittsburgh Tigers from 2001-2006 and Springdale in 2007...was also a three-starter on the Fox Chapel basketball team...led team to a Quad A Section 2 title as a senior.
