2012: Transferred to Pitt from Ohio State prior to the season and sat out the year under NCAA guidelines...Big East All-Academic Football Team honoree.
AT OHIO STATE (2010-11): Signed with Ohio State as a defensive line prospect and spent the 2010 season as a redshirt...subsequently moved to fullback and played in five games in 2011.
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-way standout as a senior under Coach Jason Estep at Charlotte Christian...played fullback and tight end on offense and outside linebacker and end on defense...compiled 86 tackles and 9.5 sacks in leading the Knights to the state finals...North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) All-State Team...selected to play in the Hawaii/Polynesia-Mainland Bowl at Aloha Stadium...a team captain for the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas (North Carolina vs. South Carolina) all-star game...played at Westlake (Texas) High as a junior and earned all-district after collecting 64 tackles and five sacks...also was an all-state wrestler at Westlake.
PERSONAL: David Hunter Durham, born 7/8/91, is the son of Ken and Dani Durham...has two brothers (including a twin sibling)...father played football for Ole Miss and uncle played at Georgia Tech...earned his bachelor's in communication and is pursuing his graduate studies in higher education management.
