2023: Played in all 12 games, starting seven at defensive tackle...compiled 33 tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble...had a career-high seven tackles at West Virginia...had six stops with a sack against North Carolina...recovered the first fumble of his career against Syracuse...forced a fumble against Florida State, jarring the ball loose from Lawrance Toafili, and Pitt teammate Bangally Kamara recovered...nominated for the prestigious Wuerffel Trophy, which honors exemplary leadership and community service...selected a 2023 team captain…selected the winner of the prestigious David Sandberg Champion Award, presented to the Pitt senior student-athlete who best exemplifies dedication to academic and athletic excellence, with an unyielding spirit and passionate commitment to the improvement of the University of Pittsburgh and its surrounding communities.
2022: Played in all 13 games, starting seven at defensive tackle…totaled 22 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one pass breakup…had a season-high three stops in four separate games (Tennessee, Louisville, Syracuse and in the Sun Bowl against UCLA)…recorded solo sacks against Tennessee, Georgia Tech and UCLA…made a crucial play in the fourth quarter against Duke when he forced a fumble that was picked up by teammate Brandon Hill and returned 30 yards for a touchdown…the scoop-and-score gave the Panthers a 28-14 lead in an eventual 28-26 victory.
2021: Played in 14 games, starting one (Tennessee) at defensive tackle…totaled 23 tackles, four TFLs and 1.5 sacks on the season...had a season-high four tackles and 1.5 TFLs (including a sack assist) at Duke…had two stops and a seven-yard sack at Tennessee…had three tackles against Western Michigan.
2020: Played in nine games, making five starts at defensive tackle…totaled 12 tackles, two tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks on the year…had a season-high three tackles at Boston College…logged his first career sack against Louisville…had two stops and an assisted sack against Syracuse.
2019: Played in 12 games as a reserve defensive tackle…had two tackles on the season, logging one each against Duke and Eastern Michigan (Quick Lane Bowl).
2018: Redshirted as a true freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year starter at defensive end for perennial WPIAL power Central Catholic…also played fullback for the Vikings…Pennsylvania Football Writers All-Class 6A…Pittsburgh Post-Gazette “Fabulous 22”…Pittsburgh Tribune-Review “Terrific 25”…All-Northern Seven Conference…helped lead Central Catholic to a three-year mark of 39-6 (.867), including two WPIAL championships and a PIAA title…rated the No. 23 overall prospect in Pennsylvania by ESPN, No. 25 by 247Sports and No. 28 by Rivals…played under Coach Terry Totten.
