2007 Scouting Report: Enters his third season as a walk-on at Pitt...originally a linebacker prospect, Walters moved to tight end during the 2006 offseason...in addition to providing depth at tight end, could surface in a special teams role this year.

2006: Played in two games (Toledo and UCF).

2005: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: Honorable Mention All-Maryland performer at Liberty High School...three-year starter at linebacker and two-year starter at tight end...twice selected first team All-Carroll County by the Baltimore Sun, Gazette and Carroll County Times...Carroll County Defensive Player of the Year...also led county in receiving as a senior with 52 catches for 726 yards (13.9 avg.) and six touchdowns...three-time all-conference...played under Coach Marty Brennan...also lettered three times in lacrosse and twice in basketball...earned All-Carroll County in both sports...Liberty High Athlete of the Year.
