2012: Selected second team All-Big East...played in all 13 games, starting the final 12 contests at free safety...paced Pitt with 90 tackles and six interceptions...his INT total was the highest by a Pitt player since 2000...led the Big East and ranked sixth nationally in interceptions (0.46 per game)...had a career-high two INTs vs. Virginia Tech...had a career-high 17 tackles vs. Ole Miss in the BBVA Compass Bowl and added two TFLs and an INT...had 11 tackles in both the Syracuse and Buffalo contests.
2011: Started seven games at safety before suffering a shoulder injury against Utah (Oct. 15) that caused him to miss the remainder of the season...had 36 tackles, three PBUs and one interception...collected a season-high 10 tackles at Rutgers...had his INT against Notre Dame near the goal line to halt a second-quarter Irish drive. 2010: Played in all 13 games, making five starts at strong safety...had 42 tackles, three pass breakups and one fumble recovery on the year...had a season-high six stops vs. Utah and FIU...had five tackles vs. Louisville and New Hampshire...helped stop a Syracuse scoring drive by recovering a fumble at the Pitt 22 (forced by Dom DeCicco). 2009: Redshirted as a true freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Highly productive on both sides of the ball at Hudson Catholic (N.J.)...compiled 1,790 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns as a senior running back...at outside linebacker Hendricks collected 110 tackles...second-leading scorer in the state...All-New Jersey Non-Public...Hudson County Football Coaches Association Player of the Year and Offensive Back of the Year...The Star Ledger Hudson County Player of the Year...Hudson Reporter All-Area and Area Most Valuable Player...All-American Conference...led Hudson Catholic to the Non-Public Group II championship final and four playoff berths overall during his varsity career...played under Coach Rob Stern...selected to play in the New Jersey-Northeast All-Star Classic, which features players from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland...also a track and field letterman.
