Enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh in January 2025 following his transfer from Eastern Michigan.

PRIOR TO PITT: Played in 36 games at Eastern Michigan from 2022-24, totaling 78 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery…set career highs with two sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 2024…transferred to Eastern Michigan from Hudson Valley Community College following the 2021 season…played in eight games, recording 24 tackles, 5.5 tackles-for-loss, and two sacks.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Tom Gallagher at Blue Mountain...as a senior, finished with 50 tackles, three sacks, a safety, and one blocked field goal...was selected a team captain...earned all-area honors as well as on four different occasions collecting player of the game accolades.

PERSONAL: Son of Joe and Katie Zelinsky...has one sister…earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice, a bachelor’s degree in general business and a master’s certification in management.
