2016: Starting middle linebacker for the third consecutive year...started all 13 games and led Pitt with 85 tackles and three fumble recoveries...added 4.5 TFLs, a sack assist and two PBUs...ranked eighth nationally and second in the ACC in fumble recoveries...had a season-high 15 tackles, including two TFLs, a fumble recovery and a PBU against Northwestern in the Pinstripe Bowl...had 13 tackles against Syracuse...in the Panthers' upset at eventual national champion Clemson, had 12 tackles and a sack assist...made a crucial play against the Tigers, halting Wayne Gallman for no gain on 4th-and-1 at the Pitt 35 with 58 seconds left...Pitt responded by driving 34 yards for the game-winning field goal with six seconds remaining...at Oklahoma State, scooped up a fumble and returned it two yards for a TD...finished his career with 283 tackles to rank 19th all-time at Pitt...named to the All-ACC Academic Football Team...selected to play in the College Gridiron Showcase all-star game.
