Bio
2017: Played in four contests in special teams capacities (Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Virginia Tech)…was on the receiving end of a 15-yard touchdown pass at Virginia Tech that came off a fake field goal…Bossory made a diving catch on the play, separating his shoulder and ending his season in the process.
2016: Served as a reserve tight end in his first active season at Pitt…appeared in three games on the kickoff return unit (Villanova, Marshall and Georgia Tech).
2015: Joined Pitt in January as a mid-year transfer from Air Force and sat out the season under NCAA guidelines…did not play football in the fall of ’14.
AT AIR FORCE (2013): Played on the Falcons’ junior varsity squad…initially a tight end, he moved to quarterback in midseason.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was an All-Southeastern Conference tight end as a senior at Chelsea under Coach Brad Bush…averaged 13.9 yards per catch (12 receptions for 167 yards) and scored three touchdowns…as a junior and sophomore, was a starting quarterback at Manchester and threw for 4,577 yards and 50 touchdowns under Coach Wes Gall…Michigan Associated Press All-State Division 5-6 Honorable Mention as a quarterback.
PERSONAL: Nathan Michael Bossory, born 2/28/95, is the son of Michael and Therese Bossory…has one sister…father played football at Michigan State and was a graduate assistant coach at Notre Dame and Michigan...finance major.
