2018: Played in all 14 games, starting 13 at Star linebacker…lone missed start was against Syracuse when the Panthers opened in a nickel package…finished second on the team in tackles (82), tackles for loss (9.5) and forced fumbles (tied with two)…also had 2.5 sacks and five pass breakups…had a season-high nine tackles with a forced fumble at Virginia…had eight tackles and a sack against Stanford in the Sun Bowl…had eight tackles and two TFLs at North Carolina…also had eight stops and a TFL at Wake Forest.
2017: Started all 12 games at Star linebacker…second-team All-ACC selection by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA)…received Honorable Mention All-ACC from league coaches…led Pitt in tackles (94), TFLs (11.5) and sacks (five)…also had two pass breakups, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble…had a career-high 13 tackles with a fumble recovery at Georgia Tech…had 12 tackles and a sack at Virginia Tech…had eight stops, including a career-high three TFLs with a forced fumble at Penn State…notched a personal-high two sacks in two separate games (Syracuse and North Carolina)...named to the All-ACC Academic Football Team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Contributed in diverse ways for WPIAL Class AAAA power North Allegheny, playing running back, receiver, linebacker and defensive back during his career...as a senior, carried 68 times for 337 yards (4.9 avg.) and six touchdowns...also had 10 receptions for 156 yards (15.6 avg.) and a TD...as a junior for North Allegheny's 16-0 state championship team, Idowu rushed for 405 yards and four TDs on 53 carries (7.6 avg.)...played under Coach Art Walker...also a track and field letterman...Scholar-Athlete honoree.
