Dominic Pasquale joined the University of Pittsburgh in July of 2023 as an Assistant Director of Strategic Communications. He serves as the primary contact for the Pitt baseball program and the secondary contact for the Pitt football program.
As a student at Pitt, Pasquale worked as an intern in the Media Relations office from 2021-23. In the spring of 2023, Pasquale was tasked with running the day-to-day communications of the baseball program for the remainder of that season before officially joining the Strategic Communications staff later that summer.
As an intern, he worked various sporting events, learning gameday operation skills, helping with office tasks and worked the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA March Madness Tournament. He worked every Pitt football home game during the 2021 and 2022 seasons, assisting with press box operations, helping with social media output and serving as the liaison for visiting sports information directors.
Pasquale graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in December of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in professional and media communications. Prior to arriving at Pitt, he attended Butler County Community College where he played baseball for two years.
Pasquale currently resides in Zelienople.
Beyond the Bio
Favorite sports moment at Pitt?
Probably the 2021 ACC Football Championship Game. I got to drive down to Charlotte, NC with my best friends and experience a championship in person, it was awesome. And by a funny coincidence I was able to get us onto the field during pregame, which made that day even better.
Favorite place on the University of Pittsburgh campus?
I love the Cathedral of Learning. Whether it’s the main floor when you walk in, the nationality rooms, or the view of the city from the 23rd floor, it doesn’t get any better than Cathy…especially around Christmas time.
