High School: One of the most productive running backs in the state of Georgia, rushing for nearly 2,400 yards his final two seasons at Calvary Day School...second-team All-State Class A selection by the Georgia Sportswriters Association...Region 3-A East Player of the Year...All-Greater Savannah...Savannah Morning News Offensive Player of the Year...rushed for 1,691 yards and 22 touchdowns while averaging 10.8 yards per carry as a senior...although primarily an offensive player, he was also utilized in special situations as a shutdown cornerback...despite missing two games due to injury as a junior, rushed for 678 yards and eight touchdowns...led team to an 8-3 record and the Region 3-A championship his senior year...played under Coach Mark Stroud...also played basketball and ran track...state runner-up in the 100 and 200 meters.
